The Park West Lions Club is pleased to announce the 2024-2025 Scholarship for graduating seniors who reside in their service area, which includes Battlefield, Unity Reed, Patriot, and Gainesville High Schools. The club has been awarding scholarships to students for many years, and encourages applications from both public and private school students, as well as those who are home-schooled, within the service area.
Applications are available in the counseling offices at your high school, or can be downloaded here (PDF) and here (Microsoft Word). Completed applications must be submitted to the Park West Lions Club at 8620 Sunnygate Drive, Manassas, VA 20109 by April 1st. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. Please be sure to carefully review the application criteria.
Scholarship Eligibility: Applicant must be a graduating senior who has been accepted for admission to an accredited college or institution of higher learning.
Scholarships will be awarded in May.
The Park West Lions Club Scholarship Committee will have exclusive authority in selecting the scholarship recipients. Consideration will be given to academic performance, community service, financial need, and a 350-word essay. The committee’s decision is final.
Scholarships are typically awarded in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $2,000, though the exact amount may vary. If selected by the Park West Lions Club Scholarship Committee, the award will be issued as a check to the admissions office of the student’s college or university, in the name of the student.
